Donald E. “Duck” Taylor, 77, of Decatur, IL passed away at 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Beecher City. Burial will take place in Hubbartt Cemetery in rural Beecher City. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Beecher City. Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Beecher City is assisting the family.

Duck was born on January 18, 1943, in Loudon Township, the son of Leroy “Jack” Taylor and Arvilla (Holman) Taylor Barry. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Duck worked for Norfolk Southern Railway retiring in 1993. He was a member of the American Legion Castle Williams Post 105 in Decatur and Argenta Masonic Lodge #871. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, trapping and stock car racing.

Surviving are his daughters: Michele Batemon of Las Vegas, NV, Carla Taylor of Janesville, WI and Kathy (Ken) Buggs of Janesville, WI; son, Doug Cohan of Janesville, WI; sister, Donna (Dave) Parks of Shumway and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Donald; brothers: Robert Taylor and Carl Taylor and sister, Jackie Lutz.
