Joan “Jody” Colclasure-Peavler, 87, of Effingham and formerly of Louisville passed away at 7:14 AM Monday, December 14, 2020.
Joan was born on July 3, 1933, in Bible Grove, Illinois the daughter of the late Grover and Verdia (Webster) McKnelly. Jody was a homemaker, and was a member of the Red Brush Christian Church, Louisville. She loved dancing and to camp and travel.
Jody is survived by a son; Gary Colclasure, of Louisville, 3 grandchildren; Natalie Burdine Conrad, of West Salem, Shae (Seth) Schuler, of Effingham, Valerie (Corey) Lybarger, of Effingham, 7 great grandchildren; Shelbi Conrad, Elli Conrad, William Schuler, Ella Schuler, Lydia Schuler, Zoe Lybarger, and Kaleb Lybarger.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, daughter; Debra Burdine, sister; Rosalie Poehler, and brother; John William McKnelly.
