Corey J. Walk, 45, of Sigel, Illinois, passed away at 7:32 PM Sunday, November 22, 2020, in the Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center of Mattoon, Illinois.
He was born July 27, 1975 in Effingham, Illinois the son of Jerry and Charlene (Will) Walk. Corey was a member of St. Michael The Archangel Church in Sigel and attended Shelby Community Services in Shelbyville, Illinois.
He is loved and missed by his parents, Jerry and Charlene Walk of Sigel, Illinois; sisters, Jody Kreke (Dale) of Effingham, Illinois, Cindy Mayer (Alex) of Effingham, Illinois, Cassie Jansen (Kevin) of Neoga, Illinois, and Jamie Wellbaum (Randy) of Sigel, Illinois; several nieces and nephews.
Corey was welcomed into Heaven by his grandparents, Robert and Audrey Walk and Pete and Olivia Will; nephew, Levi Jansen.
A private family service will be held Saturday November 28, 2020 in the Swengel - O’Dell Funeral Home in Neoga, Illinois. Visitation will be Friday, November 27, 2020 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the St. Michael Cemetery in Sigel, Illinois.
Memorials may be made to Camp New Hope or St. Michael's School.
