Edward Eugene Spears (61) of Newton

Edward Eugene Spears age 61 of Newton passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at his home.
Cremation rites will be accorded. Private interment services will be held at a later date.
Ed was born on September 21, 1959 in Davies County, Indiana the son of Harold and Wava (McKelvey) Spears. For many years, Ed worked for Conrail Railroad as a trackman. He later worked at the Lis Grain Elevator. In his free time, Ed enjoyed being outdoors and walking in the woods. He liked to hunt Indian beads and arrow heads.
Ed will be loved and remembered by his siblings Harold (Kay) Spears of Shelbyville, IN; Roberts (Barbara) Spears of Worthington, IN; Frank Spears and John Paul (Sabrina) Spears both of Newton; Mary Ruth Sparks of Newton; brother-in-law Lowell Smallwood of Newton and many nieces and nephews.
His parents, sister Janet Smallwood and an infant brother preceded him in death.
