Adam Andrew Rose, age 44, of Effingham, Illinois passed away at 10:45 p.m. Monday, November 16, 2020 at his home in Effingham.

There will be a private family graveside service at Edgewood Cemetery in Edgewood, Illinois. Military rites will be observed. A celebration of life will be at a later date. Adam was born on July 16, 1976 in Effingham, Illinois, the son of Terry Lynn Sr. and Roberta Ann (Horath) Rose. He was a member of the Honor Society in his younger years, the Edgewood American Legion Post # 1168, and the Altamont VFW. Adam served in the US Army from 2002 to 2006 as a combat medic. He received several medals, ribbons, and badges including: Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal(2nd award), Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War On Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (2nd award), Combat Medical Badge.

He is survived by his father, Terry Lynn Sr. Rose (wife Paula) of Altamont, Illinois; mother, Robbi Ann Stone (husband Kenny) of Lake Sara, Illinois; brothers, Terry Lynn Rose Jr. (wife Brittany) of Terre Haute, Indiana, Kelly Rose of Watson, Illinois, Nick Rose of Terre Haute, Indiana, Troy Stone (fiancé Brooke) of Paris, Illinois; sisters, Tammy Forte of Indianapolis, Indiana, Theresa Stone of Raleigh, North Carolina, Tonya Kelly (husband Greg) of Paris, Illinois; nephew, Jett Rose, Thad Rose, Brandon Stone, Brady Stone, Kaleb Kelly, Kristian Kelly, Joey Forte, Hayden Moody; nieces, Marissa Rose, Abbey Rose, Maddie Forte, Tabitha Stone.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joseph Rose and Vonda Chapman; maternal grandparents, Andy and Roberta Horath; brother, Dylan Rose.
