Lillian I. Rutherford, 69, of Effingham passed away on Monday, November 16, 2020 at Willowbrook in Effingham.

Graveside services will be held at 11:30am Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Arborcrest Memorial Park in Effingham. Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham is assisting the family. Online condolences may be shared by clicking here

Lillian was born on November 7, 1951, in Effingham, IL, the daughter of Leo and Ila (McCallen) Dammerman.

Lillian was an amazing seamstress and enjoyed doing arts and crafts. She managed Lake Sara Campground for many years before retiring as a telecommunicator with the Illinois State Police. Lillian liked to fish and enjoyed traveling and being outdoors with her fiancé, Mike. She was an active member of Christ’s Church in Effingham.

Lillian is survived by her fiancé, Mike Lamb of Effingham; daughters, Christal (Mike) Solomon of Fenton, MO and Esta (Chad) Frey of Effingham; grandchildren, Abigail and Aden Solomon, and Layni and Rowyn Frey; brothers, Wil Dammerman of Altamont, Bob (Mona) Dammerman of Marshall, and Tom Dammerman of Effingham; and sisters, Patti (Paul) Bernhard of Shumway and Brenda (Brian) Brummer of Effingham.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Robert Rutherford.
