David B. Johnson, 61, of Louisville, IL, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, IN.
There will be no services at this time. Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham is assisting the family.

David was born on January 3, 1959 in Colorado Springs, CO, the son of Gerald and Wilmoth (McAfee) Johnson.
David served his country in the United States Navy. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and loved watching baseball. He was a family man and loved animals. He enjoyed working on computers, whether it be building web pages or computer programming. David formerly worked at Fedders and also built maintenance trucks for the railroad.
David is survived by his son, Christopher (Roni) Johnson of Decatur; daughter, Sara (Austin) Leisure of Newport News, VA; and grandchildren, Annzleigh Johnson and one on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Melanie Ann.
