Henry Edward "Edd" Kincaid, 78, of Louisville died at 6:16am Friday, August 21, 2020 at his home.

Funeral services honoring the life of Edd will be conducted at 11:00 am onFuneral services honoring the life of Edd will be conducted at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at the Triplett & Neal Funeral Home in Louisville. Bro. Gary Barbee will officiate. Entombment will follow at the mausoleum at Orchard Hill Cemetery in Louisville. Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 8:00 pm on Monday, August 24, 2020 at the funeral home. Memorials inmemory of Edd are suggested to the American Diabetes Association and will be accepted at the funeral home. Edd was born on November 18, 1941 in Louisville, the son of the late Paul and Berniece (Blair) Kincaid. He married Phyllis Martin-Sutherlin on August 13, 1983 in Louisville and she survives. He served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Edd worked in the farming business for most of his life. He was business partners with his twin brother Fred and his nephew Steve and together they owned and operated Kincaid Farms, Kincaid Grain and Kincaid Oil. One of the things Edd enjoyed most was driving field to field to watch the farming operations take place. He was a collector of Chevrolet Corvettes, he enjoyed attending auctions and liked to watch Gunsmoke and Molly B.Polka.

In addition to his wife of 37 years, Phyllis, Edd is survived by a daughter; Darla (Larry) Murphy Jr. of Louisville, a granddaughter; Kari Murphy (ZachHarrell) of Xenia, a brother; Lou (Nancy) Kincaid of Holland, Michigan, asister-in-law; Marilyn Kincaid of Louisville and by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Fred Kincaid.
