On Thursday August 13, 2020, Edward W. Tacker Jr. “Paco”, 54, of Effingham, IL, laid down his vile body and went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham. Burial will be in Arborcrest Memorial Park in Effingham. Visitation will be held from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The family asks instead of flowers, please donate to a church of your choice in Ed’s memory. Ed was born on April 20, 1966 in Chicago, IL, the son of Edward W. and Charlene A. (Kern) Tacker Sr. He graduated from St. Elmo High School Class of 1984. Ed’s passion was giving the word of our Lord. He enjoyed praying with and for others.
Ed is survived by his father, Ed W. Tacker Sr.; sister, Carol A. Tacker; and nephew, Daniel M. Tacker, all of St. Elmo, IL.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Charlene A. Tacker; and a nephew, Charles D. Tacker.
