Donald Lee Fulk Sr. born on April 19, 1947 in Montrose, IL, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at 1:50 p.m. at the age of 73. He was surrounded by his wife and children.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham with military rites. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Johnson Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences may be shared by clicking here.

Donald was the son of Robert and Virginia (Kingery) Fulk and married Sharon A. Bushur on November16, 1968. They reside in Teutopolis. They are the parents of 7 children. Donald served in the United States Navy and served 3 tours in Vietnam. He also became a lifetime member of the VFW Post 1769. He worked in construction, was a tow truck driver for CrossroadsTowing, and then later became a truck driver. His CB handle was Cigar Man. Donald had a great love for his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He also had a love for animals and being outdoors.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Fulk of Teutopolis; sons, Terry Fulk of Teutopolis, Donald L. Jr. (Sherri) Fulk of Dieterich, and Robert (Cindy) Fulk of Effingham; and daughters, Rhonda (Tim) Burton of Effingham, Tanya (Eric) Hanley of Montrose, and Cheyenne (Andy) Willenborg of Mode. Also survived by his 13 grandchildren, Trevon, Lacey, Cole, Brandy, Zachary, Kaitlyn, Blake, Dylan,Hunter, Aria, Maverick, Brandon, and Zachary. He also has 6 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Carol (Gene) Krumreich of Mode and Donna (Randy) Hall of Effingham; brothers, Gary (Karen) Fulk of Greenup and Steve (Cheryl) Fulk of Effingham; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Angela; parents, Bob and Virginia; sister, Shirley; in-laws, Louis and Florence Bushur; brothers-in-law, Herman Hartke and Ronnie Greuel; and nephew, Kenneth Walls Jr.
