Joyce Lee Mulvaney, 79, of Louisville, passed away at 11:47 pm on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro.

She was born on December 15, 1940 in Effingham the daughter of the late John and Evelyn (Cox) Liggett. Joyce married Larry Raymond Mulvaney on March 6, 1959 in Iola and he preceded her in death on February 11, 2007. Joyce worked for many years at World Color Press in Effingham. She liked bowling, fishing and spending quality time with her family. Joyce loved her dogs, Zack, Muffin and Nikki.

Mrs. Mulvaney is survived by three sons; Keaton (Teri) Mulvaney of Spring Hill, Tennessee, Michael (Stacia) Mulvaney of Effingham and Lee (Amanda) Mulvaney of Obion, Tennessee, seven grandchildren, Kate, Alex, Ethan, Noah, Peyton, Talon and Alivia, two great grandchildren, a sister; Artie (Butch) Erwin of Louisville and by several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson; Blake Allen Mulvaney.

Cremation rites have been accorded. In accordance with Joyce’s wishes, no services will be conducted. Triplett & Neal Funeral Home in Louisville is in charge of the care and arrangements.
