Brian A. Bloemer, 47 of Teutopolis, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2020.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 13, 2020 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with burial in St. Francis Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given to the charity of the donor’s choice. 

Brian was born July 7, 1973 in Effingham, the son of Arthur and Margaret (Mette) Bloemer. He married Allison “Ali” Fleshman on May 22, 2004. He was employed for many years as a Superintendent for AKRA Builders in Teutopolis and was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Teutopolis. Brain enjoyed playing golf and watching Steelers football, as well as other sporting events. He spent time working on his yard and was an avid gumball picker-upper. Brian also enjoyed soaking up the sunshine while jeeping around the country-side and vacationing in Key West with his family. 

Brian was a family man and dearly loved his wife, Ali; son, Jordan; daughters, Jillian and Brileigh (who called her dad, “Snack Cakes”); parents, Art and Margie Bloemer; sister, Amy (Tom) Repking; brothers, Roy (Jamie) and Lee (Tammy); father and mother-in-law, James and Beth Fleshman; brother-in-law, Jake Fleshman; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
