Ronald Lee Flenner, 78, of New Bloomfield went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 surrounded by his family.

Born March 3, 1942, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Walter and Edna (Cherry) Flenner. Ronald was a Vietnam veteran who served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Mt. Zion Lutheran Church on Falling Springs Rd, Landisburg. He was also a proud member of the VFW and American Legion. Ronald was the owner of Flenner Pest Control in Illinois for 22 years and was a truck driver for Yellow Freight. He was a billiards champion and enjoyed hunting. Ron was known to be firm in his beliefs and to treat others fairly. He was a friendly, cordial, and wise man.

Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Lucille of New Bloomfield, son Steve Flenner of Oklahoma and sister Ethel Bowden of Maryland; grandchildren: Sara York and Katie Guinn both of Illinois, 8 greatgrandchildren and sister-in-law Jane Flenner of Mechanicsburg.

Ronald was preceded in death by 13 siblings: Pauline, Marge, Faye, Gladys, Louise, Betty, Dorothy, Thelma, Jim, Billy, Eugene, Albert, and Allen.
