Philip Royce Kibler age 68 of Normal, Illinois formerly of Newton passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at O.S.F. St. Joseph Hospital, Bloomington, Illinois.

Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 1 at the Chapel Cemetery, Falmouth, Illinois. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 1 at the Crain Funeral Home, Newton. Please observe social distancing while in attendance. Burial will be in the Chapel Cemetery, Falmouth.

Royce was born on March 20, 1952 in Newton, Illinois the son of Herbert R. and Phyllis M. (Dickey) Kibler. On July 14, 1984, he married Jane Ann Maples in Falmouth, Illinois. An industrial technology teacher, Royce taught woodworking, metal working and welding at Bloomington High School, Bloomington Area Career Center and Heartland Community College until his retirement.

Royce was a member of the Falmouth United Methodist Church. In his free time, he enjoyed woodworking and spending time with family and friends. Through the years, he also enjoyed spending time outdoors boating, water skiing and riding motorcycles.

He will be loved and remembered by his wife Jane Kibler of Normal; son Brandon Kibler of Normal and sister Ruth (Dave) Fischer of Nashville, Illinois; two aunts, two uncles, several nieces and nephews and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial gifts in honor of Royce may be made to the Falmouth United Methodist Church.
