Michael Ray Harmon (63) of Newton, Illinois, passed away at 2:44 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at Carle Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney, Illinois.
Private family services will be held. Arrangements are under the care of Meyer Funeral Home of Newton. Michael was born May 10, 1956 in Olney, the son of Byrl and Ramonda (Yockey) Harmon. He married Deana Baker August 24, 2003, in Newton. Michael was a supervisor at ARC in Teutopolis for 15 years. He enjoyed fishing, telilng jokes and spending time with his family and friends.
Michael is survived by his wife of 16 years, Deana Harmon of Newton; children, Mellisa Harmon of Sandoval and Max (Hilda) Harmon of Phoenix, Arizona; grandchildren, Brenna and Colton; brothers, Jerry (Diana) Harmon of Panama City, Florida and Fred (Carol) Harmon of Janesville, Minnesota and sister, Judy (Chuck) Holmes of Centralia.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dean and Helen Baker.
