Mary Jean Forbes, 74, of Brownstown, died at 5:51 p.m. Tuesday, February 25, 2020, at her home.
There will be no services at this time. Gieseking Funeral Home, Altamont is assisting the family with arrangements.
Jean was born on Thursday, October 25, 1945 in Ramsey, IL to Harley A. and Arlene (Stanbery) Rosenberger. She married James L. Forbes, and he preceded her in death in 2010. During her working career she had been employed with Poly Pak, Altamont and Matheny’s Greenhouse, Farina.
She is survived by her sons, Kenny Forbes of Brownstown and Eric Forbes of Brownstown; 2 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 2 sisters; Linda Schmidt and Sharon Lovett.
