Kerry Lee Keller, 58, of Beecher City, IL passed away at 6:35 a.m. Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at home.
He was born on March 7, 1961, in Effingham, IL, the son of Elza Keller and Judelle (Brandt) Strauch. Kerry’s greatest joy in life was his family and his love for fishing.
Surviving are his children: Dylan Keller of Mason, Gabbie (Josh) Matheny of Stew-Stras, Deanna (Levi) Ulmer of Springfield, MO, Dakota Keller of Beecher City and Danielle Keller of Beecher City; brother, Kevin Keller of Beecher City; sister, Gina (Mark) Burrus of Beecher City; grandchildren: Chace, Cayden and soon to be Cora (due May 2020) Matheny of StewStras, Domanic Keller of Beecher City and Anastasia Wilson of Beecher City; nieces and nephews: Khrissi Kennard of Woodlawn, Jessica Keller of Effingham, Cameron Cawthron of Effingham, Luke (Amy) Burrus, Jake Burrus and Caleb (Nicci) Burrus all of Beecher City and many great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Floyd (Evelyn) Brandt; mother, Judelle Strauch; father, Elza Keller; daughters: Nicole Keller and Brittany Lynn Keller; sisters: Mary Elizabeth Keller and Janetta Sue Keller and uncle, Ronald Brandt.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 28 at Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Beecher City with Pastor Sid Hutchison officiating. Burial will take place in Hubbartt Cemetery in rural Beecher City. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.
