Rosemary Strohl, 89, of rural Neoga, passed away at 6:53 AM Friday February 14, 2020.

Rosemary was born September 21, 1930 in Teutopolis, Illinois, the daughter of  Eduard and Adele M. (Merz) Hoedebecke. She married Morris E. Strohl on February  4, 1950 in Neoga, Illinois. Rosemary was a homemaker and a farm wife. She was a member of the St. Mary Of The Assumption Catholic Church and the St. Marys Women’s Council both of Neoga.

Mrs. Strohl leaves her sons, Tom Strohl (Cathy), Don Strohl (Ellen), Tim Strohl (Linda), and Mike Strohl (Christine) and daughter Susan Partlow (Bill) all of Neoga, Illinois; one sister Delores Thompson of Greenfield, Wisconsin; sixteen grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren; and daughter in law Linda Strohl of Neoga, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Morris; sons Bob Strohl and Larry Strohl; three brothers and four sisters.

Memorials are suggested to be made to St. Michael School, Sigel, Illinois.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, February 17 at 11:00 AM  in the St. Mary of The Assumption Catholic Church in Neoga with Rev. Fr. Sunder Ery officiating.  Visitation will be Monday from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM followed by a Rosary by the St. Marys Women’s Council, at the Swengel - O’Dell Funeral Home in Neoga. Burial will be in the St. Patrick Cemetery in Trowbridge, Illinois.
