Ken Webb (80) of Effingham

Ken Webb of Effingham, IL, died peacefully with wife Bonnie by his bedside and in the company of their dear friend Cheryl Reed on Wednesday afternoon January 15, 2020 at HSHS St John's Hospital in Springfield, Illinois at the age of 80.

Ken was born on September 1, 1939. He was a Navy veteran and a long time employee of World Color Press in Effingham, IL. Ken married Nancy Wohltman. They became proud parents of a son, Ron who gave them three grandsons, Austin, Alex and Aaron. Later in life Ken's beloved wife Nancy succumbed after a courageous battle with cancer. Ken later married his current wife Bonnie (Echo) Webb until his untimely passing.

He is survived by his beloved wife Bonnie, son Ron Webb, step sons Jared Echo and Shane Echo, grand children Austin Webb, Alex Webb and Aaron Webb, Madison Echo and Tahnee (Echo) Murray and sister Sheryle Green.

He was preceded in death by wife Nancy (Wohltman) Webb, his parents Charles and Audrey Webb and his brother Ron Webb.

Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham is assisting the family. As per Ken's wishes, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers and cards, the family encourages those to celebrate Ken's life by donating to the St. John's Hospital Hospice Foundation in Springfield, IL.
