Pauline Rosetta Weaver, age 97, of Edgewood, Illinois passed away at 3:42 a.m. Sunday, October 6, 2019, at Lakeland Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, Effingham, Illinois.

Pauline was born in Tolono township, Champaign county, Illinois, on February 17, 1922, the daughter of Thee and Elsie L. (Blair) Watt. She married Stanford Weaver on August 29, 1942 in St. Charles, Missouri. Pauline enjoyed cooking, sewing and gardening. She worked alongside her husband in the fields. They had his and hers tractors and ATV’s. She spoke fondly of her memories of the students of North Larkinsburg grade school from where she worked as a cook until 1963.

Pauline is survived by her son, David Weaver (wife Helen) of Altamont, Illinois; two daughters, Linda Marcus of Champaign, Illinois, Tamela Weaver of Edgewood, Illinois; five grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.

Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, Thee and Elsie Watt; husband, Stanford Weaver; three sisters, and one brother.
