Rose Louise Davin Phillips was born April 17, 1926, the daughter of Emile and Sabina Wekhuizen Davin. She was married to Ronald (Blandy) Phillips on May 1, 1948 at Immaculate Conception Church in Shelbyville, IL by Father Masterson. She passed away on July 31, 2019 at the Shelbyville Manor in Shelbyville, IL.

Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Immaculate Conception Church, 1431 State Hwy 128, Shelbyville, IL followed by burial in Glenwood Cemetery. Suggested memorial Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation of Greater St. Louis, 1807 Park 270 Drive Suite 110, St. Louis, MO 63146. Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Shelbyville is assisting the family.

She is survived by daughters: Kathleen Sheehan and Jean Rezinas (Tom); grandchildren: Shannon Cravens, Davin Cravens, Lisa (Kevin) Black, Nina (Douglas) Johnson, Katie (Nathan) Raisner, Mary (Brett) Lockart; great-grandchildren: Megan Black, Amanda Black, Savannah Black, Taylor Johnson, Coleton Crowder, Piper Crowder, Jackson Lockart, Adeline Rose Lockart, Elena Lockart, Theodore Lockart, William Raisner and Patrick Raisner; great-great-grandchild, Andrew Black; sister-in-law, Patricia Davin and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Donald David; son-in-law, James Sheehan; brothers and sisters-in-law: Edward and Mary Kathleen Phillips and Jack and Genevieve Phillips.

Rose enjoyed crocheting keepsakes for her family, gardening, birds and bingo. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.
