Karl, born June 10, 1952, was an amazing husband, father, grandfather and so much more. Karl was a jack of all trades with the ability to fix anything. He never met a stranger and was passionate about helping others and it showed through his dedication to his patients, friends and family. Dr. Rudert was a physician at Bonutti Clinic for 23 years and spent several years volunteering as the team physician for the athletes at Eastern Illinois University. He was a loyal friend to the community, always willing to lend a hand and support in any way he could.

Karl continues to watch over his loving wife of 37 years Annie, his daughters Kirin (husband, Dave) and Lindsay (husband, Pierce), and his wonderful grandchildren, Rylie, Bode, Oakley, Colt and Case. “Life is Good” that’s what Karl would say, but with him in it, Life was Great.
