Rachel Beth Donald (52) of Shelbyville

Rachel Beth Donald, 52, of Shelbyville, IL passed away at 2:08 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2019 in her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 13 in Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, IL. Visitation will be from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Donald Family College Fund.

Rachel was born on February 6, 1967 in Effingham, IL, the daughter of John and Barbara Jane (McComas) Beam. Rachel graduated from Altamont High School and then went to the Decatur School of Practical Nursing. Rachel was an LPN and worked at the Masonic Home in Sullivan, IL for many years. She enjoyed sewing, arts and crafts, camping, and reading romance novels. She married Danny Michael Donald on July 2, 1988.

She is survived by her husband, Danny of Shelbyville, IL; children, McKenna Willisson (Dallas), Karac Donald, and Rheannah Donald all of Shelbyville, IL; Tammy Springer of Kankakee, IL, Denver Donald of Ellington, MO, Clayton Donald of Chicago, IL, and Emily Donald of Ellington, MO; father, John Beam of Effingham, IL; brothers, Craig Beam of Effingham, IL, Chris Beam of Taylorville, IL, and Charles Beam (Sherill) of Effingham, IL; sister, Becky Burkham (David) of Long Creek, IL; grandchildren, Lily Jane Willisson of Shelbyville, IL, Elise, Hannah, and Nicole McKnight and Maya Springer all of Kankakee, IL, Emma, Dresden, and Eva Donald all of Ellington, MO, and Joshua and Carlita Foster of Ellington, MO.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Jane Beam.
