Joan Adermann, 87, of Altamont, died at 11:40 a.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at her home.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 2 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Altamont, with Rev. Bernard Ross and Rev. James Wright officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church. Gieseking Funeral Home, Altamont, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Grace Joan Adermann was born on Wednesday, April 29, 1931 in Effingham, Il. to Otho and Grace Warren Harvey. She married Alvin Adermann on April 29, 1951 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Altamont and he preceded her in death on December 9, 2013. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Surviving are her sons; Ricke (Sharon) Adermann, Tucson, AZ, Tom (Tammie)Adermann, Sedalia, MO, James (April)Adermann, Clinton, NC. Daughters; Connie (Tony) Kamnick, Altamont, Theresa (Rett) Smart, Sacramento, CA, Jenny (Tony)Manley, Forreston, IL. 26 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents, sons Steven and David and daughter Lisa Reese and 1 grandchild in infancy.
