Robert L. "Jack" Clough, 93, of Effingham died on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 in Florida.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30am Tuesday, January 8 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lillyville with burial in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9am to 11am Tuesday at Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham.

Jack was born the last of nine children on October 20, 1925, to Wilford and Edith (Stuard) Clough. He married Geraldine “Gerry” Wendt on August 24, 1946, and she preceded him in death on July 15, 2010. They have four children, all surviving, Joyce (Chuck) Ludwig of Springfield, Tom (Peggy) Clough of Effingham, Rick (Judy) Clough of Jackson, TN, and Marcia (Jim) Meinhart of Wheeler. Jack and Gerry have 16 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Gerry; siblings; and grandson, Robert Meinhart.
