Edith Mildred Printz, 96, of Terre Haute, Indiana, formerly of Effingham died at 9:10pm Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 16 at 11am at Bishop Funeral Home in Greenup.  Call after 9am Wednesday.  Burial in Montrose Cemetery.

She was born December 26, 1916 at Woodbury, the daughter of Henry W. and Esther (Brewer) Kingery.  She married Merl Printz on February 19, 1937 in Effingham and settled on a farm near New Castle, Indiana.  After retiring, they returned to Illinois, briefly living in Olney before moving to Effingham.  Following Merl's death, she moved in 2004 to Mattoon and then to They Wyndmoor in Terre Haute.

Survivors include her son Gene Printz and wife Sharon of Terre Haute...two grandchildren, David Printz and Diana Waldman...five great-grandchildren...seven great-great-grandchildren...her sister, Ollie Nichols of Mattoon...sister-in-law, Wilma Kingery of Neoga...and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents...her husband...three brothers, Hope, James "Jude" and Richard Kingery...and two sisters, Alice Warner and Delores McDowell.
