James M. Younger, 92, of Effingham, IL, formerly of Belleville, IL, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Lakeland Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Effingham, IL.
James was born May 14, 1926, in East St. Louis, IL the son of Raymond Osbourne and Helen nee Meehan Younger. He married Justine M. Stuntz on June 11, 1955. She preceded him in death on October 28, 1996. Jim worked as a CPA. He was a member of First United Presbyterian Church, Belleville, IL, Gothic Lodge #852 AF&AM, and a United States World War II Navy Veteran.
Surviving are his brother-in-law- Robert Stuntz of Belleville, IL; daughters- Anne Younger of Belleville, IL; Ellen (Daniel) Ritz of Effingham, IL; Alice (Helen Antoine) Younger of Kirkwood, MO; grandchildren-James Ritz, Neil Ritz, Brian Ritz, Taylor Ritz.
He was preceded in death by his Wife, Parents, and Brother, Raymond C. Younger.
