Edward Paul “Buck” Carlisle, 84, of Cowden, IL, formerly of Shelbyville, IL passed away on Monday, October 1, 2018 at HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital in Shelbyville, IL.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 5 at Myers Cemetery in Herrick with Pastor Steve Neville officiating. Lockart-Green Funeral Home in Cowden is assisting the family.
Buck was born on August 18, 1934, in Champaign, the son of Homer and Pansy (Beck) Carlisle. He married Clara Sue Frailey on November 13, 1962 in Woodstock and together they celebrated nearly 50 years of marriage before her passing on October 21, 2012.
Surviving are daughter, Amanda (Chris) Elliott of Shelbyville; granddaughters: Blair and Bryleigh Elliott of Shelbyville and brother, Junior (Jane) Carlisle of Herrick.
Preceding him in death were his parents, wife Clara and sister Patricia Evans.
