Elizabeth Waldhoff, 17, of Teutopolis, Illinois passed away Monday, August 13, 2018 at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, surrounded by her loving family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 18 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Teutopolis with burial in St. Francis Cemetery. Family and friends will pray the rosary at 3:45 p.m. with visitation to follow until 7 p.m., Friday at the church. A parish prayer service will be held at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Dallas Heart Center at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. Elizabeth was born March 28, 2001 in Effingham, the daughter of Glen and Sharon (Ruholl) Waldhoff. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, the Teutopolis High School Art Club, and was the Lady Wooden Shoes softball manager. Elizabeth was an employee of Teutopolis Treats where she loved working and enjoyed those she served.

Elizabeth is survived by her parents; sisters, Ashley (Andrew) Dust of Kansas, Illinois, Emily Waldhoff and Amanda Waldhoff, both of Teutopolis; grandparents, Jim and Anna Mae Waldhoff of Teutopolis; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Wilbert & Marian Ruholl and cousin, Dana Brummer.
