Roy E. Sallee, 73, of Decatur, IL passed away at 10:50 PM Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Mattoon Rehab and Health Care Center.

Private family services will be held. The Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup, IL is assisting the family. Memorials can be made to the Plum Grove Church.

Roy was born in Oakland, IL on January 14, 1945 to Robert and Maxine (Mount) Sallee.

Surviving are children Toby Sallee of Decatur, Angie (husband Mike) Hott of Warrensburg and Heather (fiancé Zack Mansfield) Walsh of Mt. Zion, IL.; grandchildren Nathan, Jackie, Kristen, Michael, Radiance, Jackie, Chance and Zayden; 12 Great Grandchildren plus one on the way; Brothers Garry Sallee of Terre Haute, IN, Ron (wife Geri) Sallee of Carthage, MO; Sisters Lorene (husband Merle) Stewart of Toledo, Connie (husband Floyd) Castillo of Danvers, IL and Kathy (husband Earnie) Peters of Toledo, IL.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents; Sister Carolyn Oakley; Brothers Clifford and Bill Sallee.

Roy was a truck driver for over 30 years. He served his country in the US Army.
