Harold E. Baker, 93, of Windsor passed away Thursday, November 30, 2017 at his home with his family by his side.

Funeral services will be at 11:30 am on Monday, December 4 at Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home in Windsor with Chaplain Joy Starwalt officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will take place at Windsor Cemetery with Military Rites performed by the Windsor American Legion. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice.

Harold was born February 21, 1924 in Moultrie County, the son of Fred and Merle (Fleming) Baker. On December 31, 1948 he and Edith Bolin were united in marriage at the Windsor Christian Church. Harold was a WWII Veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed spending time with his family, woodworking, gardening, hunting, and fishing. Harold was a member of the Windsor Christian Church.

Harold is survived by his loving wife of nearly 69 years, Edith of Windsor; daughters: Janet (Tim) Daily of Sullivan, Colleen Quigley of Windsor, Kathy West of Windsor and Jessie Nelson of Sullivan; sons: Stephen Baker of Windsor and Scott Baker of Rochester; 11 grandchildren; one step-grandchild; 26 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; sisters: Janiece Cox of Dallas, TX and Alice (Bill) Hicks of Windsor; brother, Virgil (Berniece) Baker of Mattoon.

Preceding him in death were his parents; brothers: Dwight, Wayne and Kenneth; son-in-law Keith Nelson and daughter-in-law Catherine Baker.
