Catherine Arlene Finn, 60, of Greenup, Illinois passed away at 9:30 PM on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her loving, caring family. Arlene and her family had dealt with the effects of Alzheimer’s for 12 years.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, November 20 at the Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup, IL. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Sunday evening at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in the Aten Cemetery, rural Hidalgo, IL. Memorials can be made in her name to Lincolnland Hospice or the New Hope Church.

Arlene was born on September 8, 1957 in Mattoon, IL to Wayne D. and Catherine Marie (Dow) Sowers. She married Jim Finn on August 22, 1975.
Surviving is her loving husband; Daughter Jessica (Bill) Hougham of Greenup; Son Charles (Mandi) Finn of Greenup; Brother Dennis (Linda) Sowers of Greenup; Grandchildren Molly, Jenna and Zachary Hougham, Lauren, Leah, Landon and Liberty Finn.
Arlene was preceded in death by her parents.
Arlene was a homemaker and was a purchasing clerk at Evapco for 15 years. Arlene’s family was her number one priority. She always put her kids and grandkids first.
