Geraldine "Gerry" R. Stuckey, 78, of Decatur, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2017, in her home with her family by her side.
 
Gerry was born July 17, 1938 in Green Creek, IL, to Leo Bernard and Regina Sarah (Rieman) Niebrugge. She married LeRoy "Bud" H. Stuckey on July 12, 1958. He passed away March 5, 2015. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and St. Mary's Auxiliary. Gerry enjoyed, reading, crafting, flowers, birds, garage sales, but most of all, spending time with her kids and grandkids.
 
She is survived by her children, Cindy (Bob) Summers, Debbie (John) Paczak, Greg Stuckey, all of Decatur, Jeff (Jean) Stuckey of Collinsville; sister, Marlene Meyer of Dieterich, IL; nine grandsons; and two great-grandchildren.
 
Gerry was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bud; one brother, James Niebrugge and one sister, Dorothy Niebrugge.
 
Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Gerry's life will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 25 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2400 South Franklin Street, Decatur, with the Very Reverend Joseph Molloy Celebrant. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday before the Mass at the church. Entombment will be in the Star of Hope Mausoleum at Graceland Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Holy family Catholic Church or to a charity of the donor's choice.
