Anne E. Turner, 69, of Effingham, IL, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2017, at Lakeland Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Effingham.
According to Anne’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. There will be no services held at this time. Johnson Funeral Home, 1110 N. Fourth Street, Effingham is assisting the family.

Anne was born on July 19, 1947, in Evanston, IL, the daughter of John and Carol (Bagley) O’Heron. She married Michael Turner on July 4, 1973, in Grand Tower, IL and he survives. Anne’s pride and joy were her son and two granddaughters. She loved spending time with them. Anne also enjoyed caring for her son’s pets and different types of volunteer work.
Anne is survived by her husband, Michael of Effingham; son, Jason (Marsha) Turner of Teutopolis; granddaughters, Violet and Ivy Turner; step-son, Erick Turner of Carbondale; and special friend, Noreen Suggs of Effingham.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
