Johanna P. Zacha, 86, of Teutopolis, Illinois passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at her son's home in Morton.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 5 at St. Clare Catholic Church in Altamont. Burial will be in St. Clare Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Hall Funeral Chapel in Effingham. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Clare Cemetery. Johanna was born June 15, 1925 in St. Elmo, the daughter of Christian Albert and Ruth Rosella (Finch) Vogel. She married Eugene Albert Zacha, Sr. February 8, 1947 at St. Clare Catholic Church in Altamont. He preceded her in death September 30, 2007.

Johanna was a homemaker and a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Teutopolis and the Blessed Sacrament Church in Morton. Her family said she was a great mother, grandmother, aunt, seamstress, FHA Chapter Mother and she loved travelng and crocheting.

Survivors include, son, Eugene "Geno" A. Zacha of Morton; daughters, Marilynn C. (husband Robert) Heuerman of Teutopolis, Frances M. (husband John) Rivett of Morris; sisters, Rose Edith Ziegler of Morris, Mary Bell Blacet of Decatur, Evelyn Berglund of Bemidgi, Minn., Delores Schoenhoff of Effingham; seven grandchildren, Erik, Edward, Channel and Jeremy Zacha, Maranda Martin, Mark Heuerman and Melissa Rivett.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eugene; grandson, Mathew Rivett and four sisters, Lucy Kramer, Gertrude Kramer, Verena Wilkin and Virginia Myers.
