Clarence Lee Stanley, 79, of Flora, Illinois died at 9:45 p.m. Monday, May 1, 2012 at Flora Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Flora.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 4 at 11:30 a.m. at Neal Funeral Home, Louisville. Visitation will be held Friday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at Neal Funeral Home, Louisville. There will be military rites at the gravesite at Ingraham Cemetery in Ingraham. Memorials may be made to Flora Healthcare Activities Fund. Online condoences may be left at www.jwnealfuneralhome.net.

Clarence was born May 7, 1932 in Clay County, Hoosier Township, the son of Arthur Earl and Velma (Smith) Stanley. He married and divorced. He was a security guard for Valley Steel in Flora. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include sons, David Stanley of Lubbock, Tex., Allen (wife Mecca) Stanley of Sheboygan, Wis., Tony (fiance Delynn Conwin) Stanley of Flora; daughter, Lou Ann (husband Tom) Carpenter of Louisville; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Herman Stanley, Virgil Stanley and one sister.
