University of Illinois Extension will be offering The ABC's of GMOs on Tuesday, March 29. This program will be held from 1:00-2:00PM. All are welcome to attend this program. 

For many people, "scary", "intimidating", and other negative terms come to mind when they hear about genetically modified foods. Is there any truth to claims that GMO's increase antibiotic resistance, change our DNA, and are bad for the environment? In this lesson, you'll learn the science behind GMO's and walk away being able to make more informed food choices.
