Centenary United Methodist Church, 203 East Grove Avenue, is the oldest church congregation in Effingham County. A celebratory Birthday Party is planned for Saturday, September 12- Monday, September 14. The party begins Saturday, September 12 at 5:45pm in the fellowship hall. The Rivers of Life Clergy Band will be in concert and provide the music. Birthday cake and homemade ice cream will be served plus games and prizes for the kids. Highlights and pictures from Our History, both Holy and Humorous will be shared. They will continue their celebration on Sunday morning, September 13 with worship at 9am and also at our Monday Night Lights service, September 14 at 6pm. The congregation invites the public to celebrate with them to greet old friends and make new ones.
