Pancake, Sausage and real maple syrup Breakfast Fundraiser will be held Saturday, March 16 from 7 a.m. until noon at the Douglas-Hart Nature Center in Mattoon. The Sap Tappin Festival will start with a breakfast of short stack for $3 or full stack for $5, sausage and beverage. After breakfast, step outside to see the syrup process. Other activities include a real vs. artificial syrup taste test. Douglas-Hart Nature Center is located at 2204 DeWitt Avenue, east of Mattoon, the corner of Lerna Road and DeWitt Avenue.
