Community Calendar

Effingham County’s Creative Learning Culture embraces lifelong learning for all citizens, cultivates creativity and innovation, and celebrates personal growth. We will be hosting our fourth lunch and learn at the Effingham Public Library on Thursday, September 27 from 12:00-1:30 in the Workman Room, where the focus will be on building relationships among the various Effingham County entities that share the goal of helping others grow through learning opportunities. Lunch is provided so registration is required.

A few of our featured speakers are Kelly Willenborg with My Memory Worx; Jamie Stang Ellis with Stang Arts; Karen Greuel with Ballard Nature Center; and Margo Probst with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Effingham County; Ethan Beck with HSHS Home Health Care and Hospice of Southern Illinois.
