The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers presented the Eighteenth Annual Dog-O-Rama Dog Show at the Coon Creek Recreation Area Amphitheater on July 7.
27 dogs were entered in the show and over 60 spectators enjoyed watching the canine participants show off their looks and talents. A variety of dogs were present, including a Boxer, Golden Doodle and Longhaired Dachshund just to name a few.
Five categories were judged and here are the winners:

Best Trick: Jake a Springer mix - owner Lyn of Springfield, IL
Best Dressed: Bentley a Yellow Labrador - owner Deidra of Strasburg, IL
Smallest Dog: Keishoe a mix breed - owner Megan of Shelbyville, IL
Most Precious Puppy: Rubie a Golden Doodle - owner Suzie of Mt. Zion, IL
Please remember when you take your pet to Lake Shelbyville while in a recreation area or adjacent waters, they must be on a leash under six feet in length or physically restrained at all times, and that you are responsible for removal of any waste and your pet is not allowed on the sand portion of the beaches.
