The Labor Day holiday weekend is here and if you're planning to travel, you'll likely see increased patrols by state troopers throughout the state.

AAA projects that the number of people taking trips longer than 50-miles will be up four-percent compared with last year, despite the sudden rise in gasoline prices blamed on the conflict in Syria.

Illinois State Police plan to saturate interstates and expressways, looking for motorists breaking the law while driving.
