Park Board Re-Elects Officers for 2024

Russ Sehy and Mike Cunningham have been re-elected President and Vice-President of the Effingham Park Board.

Other officials were re-appointed for the next year, including Park District Director Jeff Althoff as Secretary, Tony Siemer as Attorney, Carol McDevitt as Recording Secretary, and Anita Broom as Treasurer. 

This year's budget committee is made up of Sehy, board member Matt Dasenbrock, Althoff and Broom. 

Board members were briefed on summer staff, which will include 35 pool staffers, 12 maintenance workers, and 35 recreation staff members. Althoff reminds that they are always in need of lifeguards. Those interested can apply at the Park District office at Hendelmeyer Park. 

Board members Kevin Semple and Mike Cunningham were not present for the meeting.
