Special activities are planned at the Cross at the Crossroads this Easter weekend.

A Good Friday service is scheduled tonight at 7:15pm in the Cross Chapel. First Baptist Church of Effingham Pastor Nate Mason will share a message. The First Presbyterian Church choir under the direction of Rachelle Cekander will provide the music.

The Cross at the Crossroads will be bathed in red light to signify the death of Jesus Christ on the cross as a remedy for sin.

An Easter Sunrise service is planned Sunday morning at 6:45am under the arms of the Cross. Reverend Paul Bauer will share a message, and the First Presbyterian Church choir will again provide the music. Those attending are asked to take along a lawn chair and to dress for the weather.
