Altamont School Board Holds Strategic Planning Session

Altamont school board members and school officials met Saturday for the district's annual strategic planning session.

Among the items visited is that Altamont Grade School is completely out of space, and how the District could make more space available. The Board plans to do a walkthrough of the grade school building prior to their March 11th meeting.

Other items included district transportation resources, a technology update, extra-curricular activities, personnel needs at both the high school and grade school for the coming school year, maintenance and facility priorities, and districtwide goals.

The Board also met in closed session to discuss personnel and collective bargaining matters.
