The Effingham Unit 40 Board of Education Monday recognized three Effingham High School students.

The students were given recognition by the Effingham County Chamber of Commerce as Up and Coming Leaders. Two of the three students were present.

Gracie Eaton is the daughter of Michelle and Dean Eaton and plans to attend Liberty University with plans to go into nursing.

Blaine Pals is the son of Mendi and Justin Pals and plans to attend either Lake Land College or Southern Illinois University.

The third student recognized is Spencer Fox, son of Jason and Jennifer Fox, who is recovering from surgery so could not attend. He plans to attend Elmhurst University and go into medicine.
