Illinois Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) Auxiliary State Vice President Ruth Ann Trueblood delivers to Effingham police officers Jeremy Kyle (left) and Dustin St. John a "care box" that contains items such as toys, coloring books, and blankets for children who are awaiting placement during crisis situations.

The officers are members of FOP Lodge 209. The care boxes are being distributed to various police agencies across the state by FOP Auxiliary members, who are family members of law enforcement officers.
