The 4th Annual Crisis Nursery of Effingham Online Children’s Art Auction will open bidding on today, November 27, 2023 and run until 7pm on Friday, December 8, 2023.

This holiday season, consider giving a gift that gives! Each purchase from the Online Auction will directly benefit Crisis Nursery of Effingham. If a painted masterpiece isn’t on your “must have” list there will also be opportunities to donate money or purchase items for the Nursery, such as car seats, pack 'n’ plays, and more.

Crisis Nursery provides all the childcare supplies a child would need while in its care. This way, families in crisis only need to bring their child(ren) and not worry about anything else. Every dollar and childcare item donation help Crisis Nursery keep children safe and families strong. The main feature in this year’s auction is a “Up”-Inspired Community Masterpiece (2’x3’). This painting was started by local artist, Danielle Kingery-Harden. She donated her time and talent to create the iconic house from Pixar’s movie, “Up!”. Community members young and old added their fingerprints to the painting, creating the infamous balloons that make this painting take flight.

Registration for the 4th Annual Children’s Art Auction is FREE and the artwork is already uploaded for potential bidders to view. There are multiple event offers, including a raffle for 2 child-sized quilts and a Grand Prize of $500.
