Teutopolis School Board Decides on Personnel Matters

Teutopolis school board members Monday acted on several personnel matters.

The Board approved these hirings: Dan Niemerg as high school Scholar Bowl coach, Misty Mapes as high school newspaper sponsor, Susan Goeckner as junior high parapro for five hours per day, Tim Ordner as mechanic, Tim Mills as 8th grade volleyball coach, Bailey Niccum as high school fall and spring drama volunteer, and Claudia Watson as 7th grade volleyball coach.

Board members also accepted the resignation of Jen Flynn as high school co-cheer sponsor and Doug Runde as technology director.

Teutopolis board members authorized the release of two older school buses as surplus property, authorized an early graduation request, and accepted a pest control abatement contract for the coming school year. A Truth in Taxation hearing was scheduled ahead of the Board's December 18th meeting, and a county school board member meeting was confirmed for November 28 at Teutopolis High School.
