Shelbyville Man Admits to Solicitation of Sex Act

Shelbyville resident Henry Vincente Reynoso Pu Friday pleaded guilty in Shelby County Circuit Court to a count of solicitation of a sex act.

The 24-year-old Reynoso Pu admitted to attempting to involve a child between 13 and 17 years old in sex acts on three occasions between November 2022 and January 2023.

Reynoso Pu was sentenced to 180 days in Shelby County Jail, was placed on 30 months' probation, was fined $20,000, and must make more than $1,300 in restitution.

Counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse were dismissed as part of the negotiated plea.

Reynoso Pu was arrested at the end of January.
